Conservation Training Scholarship

The Conservation OutREACH Training Scholarship provides professional development opportunities for zoo and aquarium professionals. The scholarship funds participation in professional training courses offered by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). Each scholarship provides a specific training opportunity by funding a particular course or set of courses. To be eligible, applicants must be employees of a zoological institution and be a legal resident of the United States or Canada. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis.

Due to COVID-19 all spring 2021 courses have been cancelled. In-person courses are scheduled to resume in fall 2021 and at that time our scholarship program will resume.
