Conservation Celebration
These events focus on the illegal wildlife trade, bushmeat crisis, importance of protecting forests, biodiversity, and enforcing wildlife laws. These shows can be designed for target audiences (adults, children, families, etc.) and give people the opportunity to learn about conservation. These are also opportunities for communities to bond over conservation and share their stories and ideas about how to protect their communities’ natural resources. In many cases, a celebration focuses on a particular theme or animal. For example, in some areas of Colombia they celebrate the "Day of the Cotton-top Tamarin".
